“Shock and Fury Erupt After Heavily Armed ICE Agents Storm Minnesota Home in Dramatic Early-Morning Raid”

Former state senator Matt Little accused ICE agents of ‘traumatizing’ a 7-year-old by leaving him parentless after more than a dozen armed agents raided a Minnesota home
Surveillance video captured the terrifying moment more than a dozen armed ICE agents stormed a home in Minnesota as a former state senator accused federal enforcement officers of “traumatizing” a 7-year-old by leaving him parentless
Four people renting rooms at a Burnsville home were detained on December 6, including the parents of a 7-year-old and the husband of a pregnant mother of two. The incident unfolded after ICE agents allegedly followed a couple living in the property home from a grocery store
Angel Alvarado told KARE 11 that four of his family members were upstairs and hid in a bathroom when the ICE agents broke through the door of the home and pointed their guns at them. Sofia Alvarado, whose husband owns the home, said she and the three others upstairs were able to prove that they are US citizens.
She explained that a couple renting their basement was stopped by ICE agents while heading back from the grocery store. Ring camera footage showed the man being tackled to the ground on the driveway while the woman ran inside and hid with her 7-year-old child.
ICE agents detained both parents. They also detained another man downstairs and a fourth, a dad of two with a third child on the way.

His wife, who is six months pregnant, says she hid with her 7-year-old and one-year-old before ICE agents opened the door and pointed guns at her. She says ICE told her to voluntarily self deport and she is not taking care of her children, as well as the 7-year-old whose parents were detained, alone.
Residents claimed the agents did not show a warrant. Former state senator and current congressional candidate Matt Little condemned the raid.
He wrote on Instagram: “Last night in Burnsville, ICE agents broke down doors, pointed guns at children, and left a 7-year-old boy without either parent. Cruelty as a political strategy is inhuman.
“A seven-year-old is now alone and afraid because U.S. citizens were detained at gunpoint in their own home, while the boy’s parents were taken away. A pregnant family member hid with her children while agents smashed through bedroom doors. No warrant was shown, according to the families.”
Little continued: “And what triggered it was a neighbor’s ordinary grocery run. It’s impossible to live daily life when it might mean you’re ripped away from your child at any moment – whether you’re a citizen or not. I don’t care about your politics. If you can justify traumatizing a second-grader and leaving him parentless as ‘just enforcing the law,’ we’ve lost something fundamental about our humanity. We’re better than this.”
He wants people to know their rights. “They certainly have a right to a hearing, they certainly have a right to a lawyer, they have a right to contact the people in their lives who can help them out. You have all these rights, so make sure you are showing up and letting your neighbors know (that),” he told
