NIGEL Farage’s Reform UK could become the official opposition party after the next general election, a bombshell new poll shows.

They are predicted to surge to 118 seats, giving them more MPs than the Conservatives.

Rocketing support for Reform means that Labour are forecast to lose 130 seats, some 43 below an overall majority.

The exclusive results, part of a wider survey carried out by Whitestone Insight for the Daily Express, shows Labour’s vote share will plunge to just 25%, way below the 35% it secured last July.

Reform UK will come a narrow second on 24% with the Tories on 20% and the Lib Dems falling to 12%.

Kemi Badenoch’s party is forecast to win 113 seats at the next election, which is expected to be in 2029, down eight from the 121 it secured in last July’s vote.

Ed Davey’s party will win 77 seats, according to the poll, down five from the last election. The Green Party are expected to secure 13% of the vote share and seven seats, an increase of three.

Interestingly, the SNP is forecast to secure 3% of the vote share, the same as last July, but double their number of MPs to 18.

Reform UK Chairman, Zia Yusuf said: “This polling confirms what we all know, Reform has all the momentum in British politics. “It’s becoming clearer by the week that a vote for the Tories is a wasted vote. “Britain needs Reform.”
