Deport Every Single Islamist”: Tuberville Demands Total Muslim Ban After Refugee Shoots Guardsmen

WASHINGTON D.C. – The shooting of two National Guardsmen near the White House has ignited a fiery political response, with Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) calling for an immediate, full ban on immigration from Muslim-majority countries.

The controversy stems from the arrest of Rahmanullah Lakanwal, an Afghan national brought to the U.S. under the Biden administration’s 2021 “Operation Allies Welcome.”

“Subsidized” Threat? Revelations that Lakanwal, along with his wife and five children, had been living in taxpayer-subsidized housing in Washington state before the attack have fueled outrage on Capitol Hill. Critics argue the system failed to detect a threat while actively supporting him financially.

Tuberville’s Ultimatum Senator Tuberville did not hold back, issuing a blistering statement demanding the federal government “DEPORT every single Islamist who is living among us just waiting to attack.”

“This tragic attack underscores the importance of robust security protocols,” Tuberville stated, arguing that the safety of American families must override political correctness.

A Nation Divided While President Trump condemned the shooting as an “act of evil” and vowed the steepest punishment, Tuberville’s proposal has drawn sharp lines in Congress. Civil rights advocates warn that blanket bans based on religion are unconstitutional and dangerous. However, conservative supporters hail the move as a necessary step to secure the homeland.

As the FBI investigates the incident as potential terrorism and the two Guardsmen remain in critical condition, the debate over who is allowed into America—and who should be forced to leave—has reached a boiling point.
