THE SUN ON SUNDAY SAYS Labour must ensure we have enough teachers before spending another penny on school solar panels
Don’t expect common sense from Labour when the cultish worship of Net Zero is at stake
Kids need education… not Ed vexation
“THE influence of a good teacher can never be erased.”
The old saying is as true today as it ever was and almost any concerned parent would have no doubts about their top priority in schools: the standard of teaching.

So if you have a child at one of the 100 schools in a government project that have seen their teaching numbers fall, you will naturally be alarmed.
Especially when you learn that while struggling to hire educators, these schools are being fitted with solar panels as part of a £100million Net Zero splurge by green fanatic Ed Miliband.

Miliband’s mad spree could have paid for 2,037 teachers on the average salary of £49,084 a year.
Or it would have been enough to fund 3,159 newly qualified teachers in England earning £31,650 outside London.

Miliband’s reckless dash to make Britain’s energy networks carbon-free by 2030 is already on course to push up bills.

Take us home
THE traditional image of a Government minister arriving at 10 Downing Street in a British-built limo is increasingly a thing of the past.
Now just one in three of the posh cars used by ministers were made here.
Rather than being ferried about in German-built motors our leaders should set an example and buy British.
Backing UK plc should start at their front door.
A wee bit of cheer
THIS year, to adapt the famous quote, Labour politicians have treated taxpayers as a dog treats a lamp-post.
There is no end to leaking in sight.
