She used her first speech at the Secret Intelligence Service headquarters to say: “Putin should be in no doubt, our support is enduring. The pressure we apply on Ukraine‘s behalf will be sustained.”
It is speculated that Trump could remove the US intelligence that has been vital to Ukraine throughout the war. This comes as the US’s new national security strategy suggests that Russia is no longer classed as an “existential threat” to America.

Zelensky has spoken with a US envoy in Berlin this afternoon. The talks began at around 11am and were reported to have finished by 12.30pm.
The Russian leader demanded that Ukraine give up the last 20% of Donetsk it still controls, and that the occupied territories must be internationally recognised as Russian.

However, a recent poll found that three-quarters of Ukrainians are opposed to any major concessions as part of a peace deal. A poll by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology found that 75% of Ukrainians felt that a plan that included Ukraine ceding territory or capping its army with no security guarantees was “completely unacceptable”.
Dr Sidharth Kaushal, senior research fellow in military sciences at the Royal United Services Institute (Rusi) think tank, said an agreement to peace from Russia would involve the US.
